Best Botox Before and After

I have been having botox for my forehead on and off for about two and a half years although I had stopped for almost 14 months. Why did I stop having botox? I just did. There wasn’t really a defining reason. I suppose I just cared less and also I have been micro-needling and using retin-a for two years.

I also suffer with headaches after having botox. A lot of people will get a headache for a couple of days, but mine were lasting almost three weeks. Not great.

Why I Decided to Have More Botox

I do like the look that botox gives me. I am very lucky that I never get the botox shine that some people get. After 14 months of no botox I had all but forgotten about the horrible headaches. I also wanted to do a before and after for my Youtube channel. So I re-booked with my aesthetician and here I am.

As you can see from my before and afters below, I had a lot of crinkling on one side of my forehead and a few static lines. The lines don’t bother me one bit and I didn’t want a completely frozen head. As you will see from the second picture. I still have some frown lines and that’s fine with me.

My final result – very happy 🙂

Negative Effects

As I said before, I generally get a headache for almost three weeks. This time I barely had one 🙂 I did however, get quite a bit of bruising. This is quite normal. The bruises usually disappear within a couple of weeks.

Would I Recommend Botox?

I’d never recommend anything to you guys that might impact on your health or your confidence, and botox can do both. It has to be something you want and it has to be well researched. You should never have botox thinking it will make you happy it you are feeling insecure about your looks. It won’t do that. Be in a good place before you even consider messing with nature.

I suggest you check out my Youtube Video for all of the stages I went through.

What The NHS Says About Botox

“Botulinum toxin injections, such as Botox and Dysport, are medical treatments that can also be used to help relax facial muscles.

“This makes lines and wrinkles, such as crow’s feet and frown lines, less obvious.

How Much Does Botox Cost?

I pay £230 for the whole forehead. That includes the frown lines. I have in the past, only had the frown lines injected and this comes at a cost of £150.

How to Find a Good Aesthetician

Recommendation is always best. If you know someone who has had successful botox injections and you can see that they look good but not obviously injected with it then that person is probably a good choice for you too. Always go for a FREE consultation. If anyone wants to charge you for this session then they are not for you. Most reputable aestheticians will not charge you for a consultation.

If you are looking for a clinic or individual online then do plenty of research. Look at before and after’s from that particular clinic. If they don’t have any then don’t go there!

Ask questions if you have them. Explain what look you are going for and ask then how they will obtain that look for you.
