It certainly is possible to pretty much get rid of static forehead lines or wrinkles over a longer period of time.
If you are looking for a quick fix then take a look at my instant wrinkle remover for forehead post.
What you will Need
- Dermaroller – 0.5mm or 1mm if you’re super-brave
- Retin-A Cream or glycolic acid
How to use a Derma-roller to Reduce Wrinkles
Unpack the roller and remove your make-up with warm water and soap or a facial cleanser.
You will need to roll in a horizontal, vertical and diagonal motion. Six passes back and forth in each direction making sure you cover the whole area that you are treating.
It’s fairly uncomfortable although not painful. I am a wimp when it comes to pain so you can pretty much know that if I say it isn’t painful then it isn’t!
Don’t press too hard with your roller but do press hard enough to make tiny channels in the skin. This is where your retin-a comes in to play.
How to use Retin-A for Forehead Lines
When you have finished with your roller, mix a small amount (pea size) of retin-a (preferably a 0/5% or a 1% ceam with a mild moisturiser or oil. Next apply this to your forehead and rub in. Leave to dry and then add your usual moisturiser.
Go to bed!
In the Morning – Exfoliate well
Make sure you exfoliate the area well before applying your usual skin-care routine and make-up.
What can I Expect Over the Next 2-3 days?
You can expect a pretty deep peel. Never rub at your peeling skin or scrub at it too hard. Rub it gently in the shower and continue exfoliating as usual.
Yes your peeling skin will be slightly inconvenient but it will only last a few days. The new skin will be beautifully soft and tighter.
How Long Does it Take to See Results?
You will start noticing your lines and wrinkles reducing within approximately six months. Over a two year period they will be significantly reduced.
