Under Eye Serum For Fine Lines and Firming
I love the Nip and Fab range. I swear by the Instant Fix Mask which is a glycolic gel, so I thought why not try something else from the wide range of products they have on offer?
I am always rather sceptical of eye serums and creams. I suppose that’s due to the fact that I use Retin-A, and I just can’t see anything doing what that does for me. I do go right up under my eyes with it. Some don’t but I have no issue with doing that.
What Does the Nip and Fab Instant Fix Serum do?
For me, it really firms the eye area. I use it right under my eyes but don’t apply it to my lids as I think it may make them slightly sticky.
The consistency of this cream/serum is thick. It’s easy to apply but it’s better to press it into the area rather than rub as the skin here is thin and you don’t want to pull at it. It has a slight illuminator in it I think. If you take a close look at this image you might be able to see it.
Dab it in and then let it dry. I must mention that I moisturise the area before applying the serum. this area can get very dry, especially in the winter months.
Are the Benefits Permanent?
I don’t think they are to be honest. I feel an instant firming of the under eye skin once the serum has dried and it isn’t drying in any way. I do have dry skin in general so I am always very careful when using anything that might make that worse.
Makeup glides over it and I don’t find foundation getting stuck in the creases at all which is a bonus. Again, I am 47 so stuff setting into creases is fairly usual!
In summary: I really like using this product. It won’t perform miracles but it’s better than anything else I’ve tried for the under-eye area. I alternate it with Bobbi Brown’s Extra Eye Repair Cream.
It’s inexpensive and there always seem to be offers available in store (Boots) and online. Well worth a go 🙂
