My Life

Rebecca Horsfall

Maybe I would still be writing if it weren’t for Rebecca’s encouragement but then again maybe I’d have talked myself into the belief that I really didn’t have the time, who knows.

Getting feedback from an author was the best critique I could have hoped for. I wanted honesty and wasn’t afraid of criticism.

Dancing On Thorns is an epic read. It’s set in the world of ballet. After so much encouragement and advice from Rebecca I wanted to read her work, I suppose I felt obliged to really. The funny thing is that when I told my Mum about her, she told me she had recently read it!

I’m so glad I decided to read it, one;  Because it was bloody good and two; because it gave me an insight into the kind of writer she is. At first I wasn’t sure I’d be able to get into it because I know nothing about ballet but that really didn’t matter. I’m often put off by big reads and this is a big book! However, I raced through it and thoroughly enjoyed it.

  1. Nothing like i thought you’d be. Funny how you get a picture in your head😯Is that you on the front of the site then? Thought it was a library image!

  2. Yes it’s me. For some reason when you take a picture of yourself it never actually looks like you does it? Then again maybe it does but I just don’t see myself as I actually am!

  3. I have read this book. Loved it too!!! Great to receive such praise from someone with real experience in the industry. Can’t wait for your book to be published. I enjoyed the snippet.
